Relax & Unwind
Live Well Chiropractic offers a selection of massage techniques and therapists to best accommodate your needs. Current research is beginning to validate what most people already know about massage therapy: it can help ease or prevent many common ailments that are often treated with prescription drugs and/or surgery. Massage therapy is based on the ability of the body to naturally heal itself.
Massage therapy has been shown to: Decrease stress, increase circulation, release muscle tightness, improve joint range of motion, increase flexibility, release endorphins, diminish aches and pains, reduce anxiety and depression
Swedish massage
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
A hands-on full body massage of medium pressure. This massage combines aspects of both Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques. Relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation, increases serotonin levels, improves muscle tone and promotes total mind and body relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
A firm-pressure therapeutic massage. Helps alleviate pain, muscle spasms, stress, inflammation and tissue damage. Great for anyone with soft tissue problems that produce any discomfort or pain.
HOT STONE Massage
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
Penetrating heat from smooth and warmed stones is used to relieve tense muscles and sore joints. Combined with Swedish techniques, this creates an unforgettable, thoroughly relaxing experience.
Myofascial Release Massage
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
Most myofascial release treatments take place during a massage therapy session. Your therapist will gently massage the myofascia and feel for stiff or tightened areas. Normal myofascia should feel pliable and elastic. The therapist will begin massaging and stretching the areas that feel rigid with light manual pressure. The therapist then aides the tissue and supportive sheath in releasing pressure and tightness. The process is repeated multiple times on the same trigger point and on other trigger points until the therapist feels the tension is fully released.
SPORTS MASSAGE
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
A therapeutic massage that includes stretching and compression techniques. Rehabilitates soft tissue dysfunction that can result from physical labor, lifting weights or sports-related injuries. Promotes flexibility, reduces swelling, relieves muscle tension and alleviates muscle fatigue.
Neuromuscular NMT
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
Also know as trigger point work. Your therapist will focus on finding those "knots" using Medium pressure. This massage combines aspects of both Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques.
Pregnancy Massage
60 min $90 | 90 min $130
Studies indicate that massage therapy performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.
